Job Summarv
Responsible to follow all in-patient cases from end to end and closes the cases on the
successful delivery of discharge summary report followed by collection of all dues in
coordination with Finance.
Maior Duties and Responsibilitics
o Ensures through his actions, either dircctly or indirectly, that a superior quality of
medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at
thc Hospital and Clinics.
o F-ollow all in-paticnt cases from the time of admission to discharge.
. Coordinate with all relevant physicians on the progress ofcare about each patient.
. Reviews the diagnosis reports and discuss the same with concerned physician.
o Keeps the approvals tracking & inform the physicians accordingly to manage the care
within the approved timc limit.
. Assess patient progress during their stay and against expected recovery.
o Coordinate with nursing services for ensuring optimal care.
. Receive and give analysis report to Business Center Manager on Census, Status, and
Acuity with suggested solutions to any expected problem.
. Ensure to maintain patients confidentiality.
. Cives orientation to new hircs on policies and proccdures pertaining to work area,
eligibility of treatment, and Patient Care System.
. Follows all departmcnt polices and procedures
o Participatcs in on-going education program developed by the department, e.g.
Department Policy and Proccdurcs, Fire Safety, Risk Management, Environmental
control.
o Performs other clerical duties inherent in thc function relevant to scheduling and
rcceiving of patients.
. Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by the management.

Oualifications:
A minimum ol':
o Bachelors in Business Administration / Diploma in Management
. Scven (7) years' experience, One year in general officc procedure, prelcrably in a
clinic, hospital. or physician's of'fice and at least four (4) years work experiencc.
. lixperience in Patient Scrviccs
. Computer literate (Excel and Word 2000)
. I:luency in wrilten English and Arabic.
. 'l'act, courtesy and public relations skills are a must.
. Must be excellent and convincible in the conversation
