• Job Description:
• Assists the Therapist in the delivery of basic patient care, upkeep the condition of equipment, and the cleanliness of the unit with knowledge of infection control and other safety measures in the patient care environment.
• Work is performed on any shift as required in the inpatient units. Is required to demonstrate ability to understand and follow both written and oral directions; to perform routine and more complex tasks involved in caring for physically and mentally ill patients; to understand the patient's physical condition; to report observations accurately and appropriately; to use accepted hospital equipment in the performance of duties.
• Maior Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensures through his/her actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the Riyadh Care Hospital.
• Transfer patients to and from wards, waiting room and clinic before and after treatment.
• Replenishes supplies as needed and appropriate for physiotherapist and patient use.
• Maintaining acceptable work standard.
• Assists the therapist in handling the patient especially bed ridden and disabled patient.
• Maintains work areas in a clean and safe environment.
• Change linen on the cubicle area. Treatment tables and providing clean towels on the cubicle area.
• Fill, drain, clean and decontaminate all whirlpool tanks, paraffin wax and fluid therapy equipment.
• Assist with obtaining patients medical records and X-rays and other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with hospital dress code.
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Department Head, Supervisor and therapist

   

  Education:

  • Secondary school graduate or equivalent.

  Experience:

  • 2 years of experience as an Orderly in general hospital.

  • Competencies & skills:

    • Ability to exhibits professionalism and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    • Fluency in verbal and write English, can speak Arabic desirable.
    • Must be willing and able to work with multi-cultural and physical handicapped clients.
