- Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the RCH.
- Performs M-Mode and 2-dimensional echocardiograms in both adults, children and children. A thorough knowledge of normal cardiac anatomy and the anatomy of acquired or congenital diseases of the heart is required.
- Assists Cardiologist in performing phonocardiography and Trans esophageal echocardiographic procedures.
- Performs an assessment on patients of various conditions and ages, considering the physical and physiological needs of every patient
- Processes and maintains records of all results. Performs minor repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Maintains departmental inventory of necessary materials and supplies.
· Performs all written documentation, as required by departmental standards, in a timely fashion and submits the completed report.
- Organize the rota for coverage.
· Assists in the orientation of new employees as assigned by supervisors.
· Participates in continuing education.
· Responsible to educate patients /families as per their needs and to implement their whole role regarding patient / family education process as mention in patient & family education policy and procedure including documentation in patient medical record.
· They are knowledgeable about their essential role in patient and family education.
· Performs additional duties as directed or assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education:
A minimum of:
- Bachelor/Associate of degree or college diploma in healthcare related field from an accredited institution.
- Certification in Echo specialist.
· Valid license of specialty from Saudi Council as specialist.
- Valid Basic Life support certificate.
Experience:
· Required
Post qualification experience of three years.
